Khan Shaheed and his politics for women rights #InternationalWomenDay #IWD2017

Khan Shaheed Abdul Samad Khan Achakzai believed in the equality of women, enrolled his lone daughter to show her as a symbol and aware people that education for women is their right as is of men. He preferred his daughter to be part of his political tours across Afghanistan, to spread the message of women empowerment in all fields of life.

Khan Shaheed’s autobiography starts from the very name of his mother, showing that how a first woman impressed him to be his role model and point of love. Though, even now Pashtun fellow feel hesitation in showing ones mother/sister/wife’s name. His every word is a way of inspiration for his followers.

He states that if there was not the struggle and raising children by his wife who faced the thorny journey of nationalist politics, he would not have been able to go for that longer political journey. He states that his wife though did not liked his being away from home always behind the bar but after his political education for her made her to feel bravo before sacrifices because the national freedom was sacred.

Most of his writings focus on the women miseries across the motherland and how he thought to change the mentality of the people to treat women as equal human beings.

This is why his followers of the Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party believe in women equity, democracy, social justice, peace, development and rule of law in the light of Khan Shaheed’s teachings and principles for achieving a developed motherland.

Pakistan’s long lasting love for strategic assets is not hidden

Blowing the dust won’t work, the terrorism and terrorists factories were raised for Ghazwa Khurasan and Ghazwa Hind, and even today the ideology of Afghan Taliban and TTP are not different from each other. Even today the IS linked groups in Pakistan are the darlings of the state spy agencies who’re aimed to give a lesson to Iran and minorities at home.

Weren’t these assets trained by Col Imam, Breg Khwaja and then sponsored by the Gen: Musharaf controlled regime? How can your own children can work against your sovereignty aren’t they your darlings. Where Osama Bin Laden was killed, and how Mullah Omer got his treatment from Karachi and how about the Mullah Akhtar Mansoor death in Nushki. How cleverly the writer try to cheat us, do you see a bit difference in the policy of IS, AQ, Afghan Taliban, Punjabi Taliban and TTP, all are aiming to practice “Sharia Law” and the fight of Afghan Taliban and IS was long before solved that was only a matter of area and vested interest of local commanders. In broader perspective they are the children of same ideology that’s implemented through same tactic “violence, terror”.

Second, how would be the Baloch Freedom Fighters on the same page with the world class terrorist franchise or our strategic assets who’re killing the Baloch nationalists across Balochistan under the name of same lashkars now linked with IS, Punjabi Taliban. Still you blame India for your own mess? Is a dust blow nothing more than that.

And the IS local chapter or Afghanistan Pakistan chapter was never accepted by the IS in Iraq and Syria earlier, by killing civilians in Quetta, Peshawar, Safoora Pakistan got a registration certificate of its darling strategic assets and that’s proved now the news are released from Emaq news agency, the mouth piece of IS. Pakistan wanted to have its military aid from US, Russia, China so after a dying cow Al-Qaeda her child IS would be a good one to play hide and seek with in #AfPak region.

Afghanistan has got enough in 15 years after Taliban regime oust

My commentory on the Atlantic article written by Habib Zahoori on the eve of 15th anniversary of International Coalition Forces in Afghaainstan. The writer is too tense about Afghanistan, no doubt shows his love of the motherland and people. Your opinion may be a bit emotional for me, because, you are far away for last two years, from friends and family and the people. As you’ve mentioned that Afghan Security Forces are not capable to secure common lives. Here we can get examples of even western countries where only lone wolves killed many and such attacks on civilian are rarely controlled to zero level. Though, Afghan National Security Forces, are in fight with more than a dozen groups of militants. Still they prove, the best force, who safeguard their people more than even Americans could do. The 2006 US forces faced by challenges in Kandahar were even pushing them leave the region, when Afghan Security Forces controlled things back as noted by well known writer Carlotta Gall.
Things no doubt have improved, and the International Community invested in Afghanistan has resulted so positively. Today millions of children go to school, women have basic health facilities all across the country [may not be equal to western nations], rule of law has come to practice, media houses independently reporting, a democratically elected government is on its way to serve the people. These are all the very progressive outcomes of the Americans and other who spent their money and energies here in Afghanistan.
Taliban and the warlords, at the same times International Community could opt one, no doubt warlords were the best option. And now or years later Afghans would not elect them [the warlords] through their votes this would be the biggest punishment for warlords to either change their way of politics or feel the warmth. And that way common youths and women can go and join parlaiment, in my view a slow and steady move would be better option, instead of a revolutionary [with drastic impacts].
Last but not the least, 15 years is very short time, for a nation devastated by a 40 years of war and interference from neighbouring countries, in particular Pakistan. We [Afghans] at least need another 25 years to go back to our normal positio [my own opinion].

#SealAfghanBorder another way to confuse people

After the terrorist attack on Bacha Khan University, where the non-violent leader of Pashtuns Fakhr e Afghan Bacha Khan’s death anniversary was planned to be a poetry gathering. And the children raised by the hardcore militant wings and terrorist organizations had selected the day for a sheer message that the hardline ideology Pakistan pursue is never accepting Bacha Khan’s peace loving messages.

Now as I write these lines; a trend that’s referring to seal Afghan Border makes me write this piece. I should mention that the trends are always spread by the Pakistan powerful army anonymous accounts on twitter and other social media websites.

We can ask the Pakistanis who are still clapping their hands from behind the curtain on the death and blood pools of Pashtun nation. The ideological boundary of Pakistan raised terrorist groups is from “Iqbal: Nile to Kashghar #ISIL” hw would you come to #SealAfghanBorder for seeking peace in Pashtunkhwa? These are mere rhetoric of the authorities who are wasting time or are creating confusion among the Pashtuns living on both sides of the Durand Line.

A primary student understand what the ideology they are taught in their curricula, the Pakistan a country that remained a bi-product of the sub-continent freedom in the mid of twentieth century. The Pakistan is colored with many brushes; some of its pseudo intellectuals call its founding leader Jinnah as a secular liberal personality. Others see Iqbal who’s a Urdu and Persian poet as the country’s ideological father. Earlier Sir Syed Ahmed Khan was written the father of two nation theory; now going to the back seat because the man had secular thoughts and was strong supporter of scientific educational system; as far as I have observed him; but the brushes which paint him shows as if he was a good extremist religious cleric.

Coming back to Iqbal; in his well versed poetic language; this man has been a Marxist, then impressed by the post-modernism at the end awarded the sir title by British rulers (only to own agents and payroll it was awarded ref: the liberation movements of India); and became the ideological father; most of books explain that he’d the power to build Pakistan in his dream. He died decades before Britishers flee the Indian sub-continent. Iqbal guidence in Pakistani curricula was spread with much focus from Gen: Zia and his supporter political wing of Jamat Islami; the right group political party having its link in the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood. Iqbal calls upon Muslim to remain one nation (a totally misinterpretation of the nation definition). Another call from Iqbal united Muslim nation (Millath) from “Nile banks to the land of Kashghar”. Iqbal’s Nile and Kashghar connection can be traced in the Islamic State, the deadliest organization in Iraq and Syria, manifesto. And in the future the said organization can get enough foot soldiers from Pakistan. Because this version of territory expansionism can be heard in verses he wrote; and Pakistanis follow them without any search.

The extremism centric literature in Pakistan was published in the Gen Zia era (1977 to 1988); and the leftist scientific writings were barred from being published; the democratic say was banned; freedom of expression, speech and media were axed by the martial ruler of the country. His legacy was not of him alone; it’s since the beginning of the country voyage; but he could only survive his elite of the Khakis to switch to Jihadi policies. As army men are only for artillery and defense so they see things in the prism of strategic aspect only. This is what Zia did; and his bravo general Musharaf kept it on in another format. On the record supporting world alliance after 9/11 but from behind giving sanctuaries, support to the world top terrorist organization Al-Qaeda and the Taliban factions on its soil (was proved after OBL death in a US navy seal raid and Mullah Omer death in Karachi based hospital).

The minorities in Pakistan are having no rights; the open discussions of extremism in the books we are taught are asserted an attack or activism against the state of Pakistan, nations are kept here as in a jail cell. The natural resources of the nations are plundered by the powerful military establishment erected body leading this country since the beginning.

P.S: Still you see Afghan border seal, Afghan cellular sims a cause of terror attacks in Pakistan?

Rabbab and the Rabbab master

Pashtunkhwa motherland is enriched of its beauty. You can find a diversity of people from artisan to the experts and social scientist, intelligentsia. I met a beautiful Afridi Pashtun may be in his 70s sit in a calmer shop; seemingly hostel room; filled with his food stuff, cloths, useable and some pieces of the music instruments.

Sarfaraz Khan a legend who works on this Pashtun musical tool “Rabbab”; is an awesome personality; can be a proud Pashtun if you look him from distance. But a greeting with him would melt the ice and friendly conversation can easily take place between you (the visitor) and the Rabbab master. He’s hailing from the Khyber Agency and told much about the Pashtun poet “Khatir Afridi and Hamza Shinwari”; he know that Khatir Baba was not having qualification but was still good even Hamza Baba has told about his abilities that proved him to be Khatir.

At first when we met him; he asked “are you people from Kandahar?”; when we told that we are from Quetta; then went in deeper chats, his eyes were shinning. And we asked about the Rabbab pieces to show us and if possible play them before us that we would understand how it’s played. Whenever our friends would ask him how’s Rabbab learnt; he would reply in a question “how do you learn Aalif, Bay Thay and the Pashto and other languages?” we would reply that you mean by practice. He would nod his head of course; he kept continuing, when you were students your father or elder brother would write on your writing piece of wood “Takhthi” with simple marks. And you were able to follow them at school with more black ink on these marks with your bamboo pen. This way you learnt everything. Things are learnt by rehearsal; like a teacher teach you a bit of thing then you start going after that and practicing it; same is Rabbab it’s not hereditary.

Much can be felt in this old age man; the love of his people, nation, geography, reality, music and the most loving tool “Rabbab”. He started playing Rabbab within a minute and then let us hear it; we could easily recognize which popular Pashto song it is.

Do practice and enjoy life; the keenness is the best way to put you does something innovative; so try it in your life. Hey you guys can change the Rabbab even after a year if someone tell you that you people are cheated by me.

Looking alone with his room now turned shop; different Rabbabs hanged from the walls around having different prices; even a decorated piece with 65 thousand rupees.

He told the history of Rabbab and its components from that it’s made. Started that do you know seeps in the oceans? These are beautiful and they are decorated artistically on the Rabbab; hey guys never feel they are the simple seeps/shells found in rivers; these are oceanic; look at their color they are different and hard. And the body of Rabbab is made of “berry” tree.

Rest of the woods is not having that longer life when they are cut; it’s only “berry” which is living for long even after being cut; not only is this quality alone. Do you know the body of Rabbab made of berry tree gives very pleasant sound when its chords are tighten and disturbed with your fingers. No other wood can do; pointing to his room older “1880s” made door. Look its pine; this is not that better for Rabbab; though it’s for windows and doors.

With cracking jokes; you cannot remain alerted youth forever; there would be a day you would come old and your size would change; but its berry tree that keeps Rabbabs’ size the same forever. And the passage of time on Rabbab piece makes its sound clearer and its value greater.

#PeaceTalks with Afghan Taliban

Afghanistan, Pakistan, United States and China are going to the table once again to put an end to the paused peace process of Afghanistan with the Afghan Taliban. Earlier the process was stopped owing to the death disclosure of the then Taliban head (emir of the faithful as they call) Mullah Omer at a time when Kabul and Islamabad was reaching to a work plan.

This time Taliban are not invited as they have already demanded direct talks with the United States instead of Afghan government (as they always gesture to the second as puppet).

Sartaj Aziz, a veteran politician of PMLN and, the Pakistan’s foreign affairs adviser to the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, has already stated that he can’t name the factions of Taliban ready for the talks with Afghanistan (Dawn Reported).

The four point agenda would be 1) Taliban would be asked to gain their political goals via dialogues instead of insecurity 2) paving the way for direct talks with Taliban 3) confidence building and bringing Taliban to the dialogue table 4) a realistic and flexible roadmap, steps and phases, but to avoid unrealistic targets and deadlines.

No doubt this time the shape of Taliban dialogue would be changing; because they are already shown divided in different factions as gestured by Sartaj Aziz. And their killing of parties in Pakistan as well as Afghanistan is reported since they met in Murree (reported by Daily Beast) some two years ago one of their leading commanders in absence of Mullah Omer called upon the groups to stop killing leaders. It happened after some of the Quetta Shura members were killed in Quetta (In news outlet Taliban pointed their fingers on National Directorate of Security, Afghan spy agency).

The Chinese expansion in the region as one of the emerging power from the east is obvious; it’s planned its corridor net in Pakistan would be stretching to the Central Asian Countries soon using Afghanistan as its shortest way connecting it further to the Pakistani deep seaport of Gawadar. On the other hand Americans are angry over the speedy popping up of new terrorist group Islamic State (Daesh an Arabic Acronym) in Afghanistan Pakistan region. This group can derail the fourteen years old investment, military, logistics, revenue use of the International Coalition partners in NATO; where the biggest share is made by the United States. This is the reason these two nations China and US middle the dialogue between Afghanistan and the Afghan Taliban (who are reportedly stationed in their safe heavens in Pakistan).

The dialogue mantra is not new; earlier former Afghan president Hamid Karzai tried his level best; he was even named the “Taliban brother” by his opponent, for his struggle taking his “angry brothers”, as he called them in his speeches, on board. But those dialogues would always find an unknown blow sometimes by the middling Americans and almost by the disturbing attacks on NATO, Afghan security forces and the civilian from Taliban. And such event would always get a restart after a go on and go off turns in the process. Afghanistan even lost the Afghan leader Professor Burhanuddin Rabbani, a farmer Mujahideen leader and head of the Peace Council a committee created to monitor and go for dialogue with Taliban.

Afghan government, intelligentsia, spy agency reports, even the western media would name the only name “Pakistan” being the double standard ally in dialogue with the Taliban. Because it was viewed by some analysts that Pakistan wanted to give a tough time to International Community at the same time would hide its face behind the so called peace dialogue process.

Again in four point agenda it’s visible that Pakistan is not in the favor to bound Taliban for ceasing attacks across Afghanistan. As Sartaj Aziz has already talked about several Taliban groups; no doubt one group led by the Akhtar Mansoor, the nearest one to Pakistan’s spy agency Inter-Services Intelligence would be brought to the table. But his rival groups are showed not to be in control of Pakistan, who experts’ states are under the same Pakistani umbrella but only showed to the world as divided. And this would be the only excuse this time not to let the peace process find its destination.

#SanoberKakaji the Pashtun Afghan hero

Kakaji Sanober Hussain; first a teacher at Islami College Peshawar, then found his own organization for the peasants and their issues then joined his hands with the sub-continent “Nawjawanan Baharat Sabha” who wanted a direct hit for the imperialist contrary to the way of All India Congress political struggle; shows Kakaji was in favor of using the way of resistance instead of waiting for peaceful political struggle.
A page by his name on Sanubar Hussain Kakaji states that after being held by the Britishers behind the bar he was released and he switched to publish a magazine of his literary, political, revolutionary struggle titled “Silaab”. Whic was later banned and his comrade advised him to join hands with Haji SahibTarangzai (another Pashtun Afghan hero of resistance movement already living in Central Pashtunkhwa “Fata”) “was already there who was busy working against imperialists to liberate the sub-continent from their clutches. Kaka ji accepted his allegiance and stayed there for almost 18 years working for the movement of freedom”.

Kakaji ran a literary poetic organization; and struggle hard till his death. Never stayed away from the politics; salute to him on his death anniversary 3rd January 1963.
